After being a weekender in Winchester for 21 years, Carol Kijek became a full-time resident three years ago — but she is no stranger to this town. She is running for the Board of Education because she believes in strong, united schools, transparent leadership, and community-driven decision-making, while always following state law.

Carol is the mother of three daughters and the grandmother of five, with her eldest granddaughter graduating from Gilbert just this past year. With 39 years of experience in the legal field, she brings valuable expertise that will help guide the Winchester BOE and the Gilbert School toward a fair, sustainable agreement. Her experience also positions her to strengthen fiduciary responsibility and create efficiencies between the two schools.
With deep family ties and professional expertise, Carol is ready to:
