Thank You from The Winchester Republican Town Committee and the Board of Education Candidates
The Winchester Republican Town Committee and the Board of Education Candidates would like to thank the faculty and students from Gilbert HS for conducting a very professional debate last evening.A few things were quite obvious:Our candidates bring a far greater diversity of skill sets which include candidates with legal, educational, municipal and leadership backgrounds. Our candidates also include two former students of the Winchester School system who know how we blend educational needs with our community goals and objectives.The past experiences of our candidates will ensure we improve our children’s education while unifying our schools to take advantage of synergies to balance teacher retention, improve educational opportunities while doing so in a fiscally responsible manner for our tax payers.Finally, we will work to improve educational standards and create a collective school system, K-12, that will be viewed as a school system people want to come to Winchester for.
